One of my favourite bees, the Blue-banded appears almost cuddly (it can sting if annoyed enough) with its tubby shape, furry body, striped pyjama pants and large eyes.

When resting, Blue-banded Bees hang on to the stem they are resting on with their jaws.

This one is possibly Amegilla pulchra.
